HES Properties

The properties in this section are all owned and managed by Historic Environment Scotland (HES). 

We have subdivided these historic properties into  categories. Each category has a gallery containing at least one image of each property . 

Each image in the galleries has a unique reference which begins with TWO letters, e.g. HC123456. These letters correspond to the general area of Scotland where the property is located. In this example , HC refers to Highlands Central – see this on the map .
